What INTERNET means to me......

Image
Network of networks, simply called as internet. Although that is the definition given to the term “internet”, I suppose it is just limited only to the text books. Internet used to be a mystery in my early school days & later in my secondary school level, an ISP (According to my memory it should be LBN) provided 10 hours of internet surfing for 200 rupees. At that time it’s too much for that kind of facility. By now internet has become the fourth basic need of human apart from food, shelter & dress. Everyone, from the age of 6 to unlimited age, uses internet. But most of the users don’t know actually what internet means, even me also. They really have no need in knowing that because they might think it is useless. In my routine, when I open a web browser such as Chrome or Firefox or even Internet Explorer in order to surf internet at first a blue page is come out. If a person who doesn’t know even a drop about internet may ask me whether the colour of internet i

As a result of it, we have to come across lots of accidents and incidents, in the process and development of nuclear power every day. In the whole history, the most dangerous and most significant accident in the American commercial nuclear power generating industry is the “Three Mile Island” which was owned and operated by General Public Utilities and the Metropolitan Edison Co. which is situated near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. ROLE OF TECHNOLOGY IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

ROLE OF TECHNOLOGY IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INTRODUCTION In any country , for it’s development economy plays a big role. This is not to say that there were no important techn

GENERALIZATION CONCEPT & WOMEN

Image
GENERALIZATION CONCEPT & WOMEN There is a famous proverb in Tamil with meaning of a drop of cooked rice is enough to check the whole cooked rice. This is widely used for the concept of “Generalization”. A drop of cooked rice is in eatable condition means the whole pot of cooked rice is o.k. What it means? In general the fact is proved by our experiences. But, how can it be allowed to use this generalization concept in the case of an example for the feminism. And how much it acceptable the generalization concept for whole women, by looking at the attitudes and hobbits of some women. Not only that, usually the concept is used for soulless properties, but the notable fact is it’s being used for feminism years and years. In order to use a concept or notification, we should follow the conditions have to be applied and the ways it was used in previous years. In that sense we failed in approaching the concept on feminism.

THE WORST INDUSTRIAL DISASTER; THE BHOPAL DISASTER

Image
BHOPAL TRAGEDY Ever since the “Industrial Revolution” began in the early 19 th century, every single industry had rapid developments in their particular areas & many more new industries came to the market. So that there was no restrictions for the chemical industry also. Chemical industry including the pharmaceutical industry has grown & developed enormously at that time. In those days developed counties were the leaders of manufactures of industry (even today also the same case remains). They had to obey strict rules & regulations of their countries & had to pay enormous amount of taxes to their states or governments in order to produce their products. So the manufactures started to think of an alternative way to sort out the problem. Their eyes started looking at the third world countries. Because of comfortable & law rules & little amount of taxes in those countries. Union Carbide Corporation (UCC), whose parent company was
