Introduction to Energy Policy An energy policy is a crucial framework that guides a country’s approach to energy production, distribution, and consumption. It encompasses a range of strategies and regulations aimed at ensuring a stable, sustainable, and affordable energy supply. The necessity of an energy policy cannot be overstated, as it directly impacts economic stability, environmental sustainability, and national security. Importance of Energy Policy ·       Energy Security Energy security is a key component of national security. Dependence on foreign energy sources can make a country vulnerable to geopolitical tensions and supply disruptions. For example, Europe’s reliance on Russian natural gas has been a point of concern, especially during political conflicts. A comprehensive energy policy can enhance energy security by promoting domestic energy production and reducing reliance on imports. This can be achieved through the development of local energy resource...

Fonts There are 4 basic fonts types namely; Serif, Sans-Serif, Script & Display fonts. Serif is traditional. They are elegant and have feet at the top and bottom. Sans Serif is the modern font. Get In to the Point

If you are doing a presentation in your college or company or any other forums, definitely you might use presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint or web-based software like Prezi or any other platform. Presentation software is handy that can be used with simple techniques to describe complex information and data. Let me share a few dos and dont's in a presentation. Do's  Think carefully to draft the presentation. Treat the presentation as a story. Eye contact is essential; if you lose it, it's difficult to get the interest back. Engage with the audience (asking questions, getting feedback & let them talk) Slow down when you emphasize something; pauses are important.  Be visual (Use pictures and videos. If you are a better storyteller, you don't need many visuals) Design the slides so that they are easy to see from the back of the room. Better to go with 16:9 slide size rather than 4:3. Be consistent in animations and transitions. (stick to a few animation typ...

One day a 20 year old boy was travelling with his dad in a train by peeping outside through the window. There was a couple sitting just in front of them. Suddenly he started shouting, dad look at the trees are going behind us. The dad smiled. But the couple was excited. In a couple of minutes he again shouted dad look at the clouds, they are running with us. With the curiosity the couple approached the dad and asked “why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?” The dad smiled and responded. Yes I took him to a doctor and we are just coming from the hospital. From the birth my son couldn’t see the world. He got the eyesight after an eye operation and we are returning after the operation. If you looked at the incident as the couple that will be the way you would have behaved. This is one of thousands of stories around us where we look the things in the wrong angle. Now I am going to show some images to you. Let’s check them out. What do you all see here?    ...

Now it's enough

Image
Dear MS, MR & RW, Yes we know how you three worked hard to build this beautiful nation. Meantime we are proud to see now also you all are trying your level best to serve the country at your 70's. The job you all have done should be appreciated. Thousand of thanks my dear great leaders. But you all might be tired after serving this country for this long years. So we feel now it's enough. I am not a political expert to criticize all the political decisions that you have made, but as a neutral citizen who loves to see the development of the country, I can't be silent without raising my voice. I actually don't need the so called "short fun" leaders who try to please the innocent people for a while and making the nation to think more about the future. I don't need leaders who protect their corrupted political animals and making the people to talk more about politics and politicians. I don't need leaders who do the massive physical infrastru...

Second Life

Image
You are not  important because of how long you live, you are important because of how effective you live. Second Life that everyone can’t make it but you can help the people who want to make it. Believe me this is not a spiritual article. Health statistics show that annually more than 2,000 people die due to kidney failure. Nearly 1,700 die due to advanced liver disease; this statistic is limited to government hospitals. In that context more than 4,000 people die every year due to liver and kidney failure in Sri Lanka. The medical community considers this as one of the biggest health problems that needs to be immediately addressed. Especially Chronic Kidney Disease (CKDu) presence among people living in some areas confined to North Central Province. A person from Anuradhapura, that’s why I really really concern about a  second life  for those needy people.  The only lasting solution for such diseases is an organ transplant wh...
